Food Insecurity
This focus area strives to combat the evolving issues Mill Township faces with low access to healthy, affordable foods. With initiatives like free family cooking classes to our community gardens on site and at Mississinewa Community Schools, our working group is actively changing the narrative around food insecurity.
Family Cooking Classes
Our family cooking classes happen once a month in the GatherGive Center and are a great way to learn new recipes and enjoy spending time with your family! Classes are free of charge and pre-registration is required. Check our Facebook page for a list of dates and times!
Community Meals
Join us the 4th Wednesday of every month for Community Meal in partnership with Gas City First United Methodist Church. Meals are served from 5:00-6:30pm at the church:
213 E. South A. in Gas City. Carry-out and delivery are also available. Check our Facebook page for delivery sign up here.
Grow-a-Row
